Help! My cat ate easter grass!?

The grass was stuck in his bottom as he was trying to pass a bowel movement. I helped it out gently. He looked like he was in pain though, could there be more in there? Should I just watch him and see, or should I take him to a vet? Thanks

Cod liver oil will help
DO NOT PULL it is very intertwining in there and you could injure him

take him to a vet he could die. Cats are a joy forever, or until the next holiday!

It could tie knots in his belly.. I wouldn’t pull it anymore. I’d call the vet and ask them what to do, they will probably say bring him in though. GOOD LUCK!!!
Poor kitty.

Generally, your cat will be fine. He may have eaten more grass. DO NOT pull it out. This could really hurt him. Just keep an eye on him and if you notice him not eating or using the litter box take him to the vet.

definately take him to the vet. Not only can easter grass cause a linear foreign body (imagine sweat pants, you pull on one end of the string and the pants gather –>that’s what the intestines do!) but you pulling the grass out could have caused a cut in the intestines (like a paper cut, that stuff can be sharp!) If he ate one piece, he could have eaten 12, so go to a vet and get x-rays!

I would deff take him to the vet so they can do an x-ray, but most likely it has probably all passed, you can sprinkle metamucil a fiber supplement on his food and in his water. It helps them pass thngs through there system.

I would watch him, if he acts like he is not feeling good, or not eating or not going potty, take him to the vet. He will probably continue to pass it on through, depending on how much he ate.
