Sponsor Boston Kids for Christmas…?

I live in Boston and last year I sponsored some area children for Christmas through Christmas in the City. However, their website and Amazon wishlist have not been updated in a year. I was wondering if anyone knows of any agencies in Boston that have sponsorships like this. I am particularly interested in donated gifts or a Christmas stocking/basket/care package and NOT money. Thanks!

Call a local Salvatian Army or a neighborhood school. Salvatian Army gives toys out to underpriviledged children and you can “adopt” a child by picking an angel off of a tree and buying for a particular child or you can just buy gifts and take them there.
A school usually has one or two families that they try to provide Christmas for also. Either choice would be appreciated I am sure.
