How do I ask guests to bring gifts from my wedding registry for my shower and have a wishing well reception?

We just bought a house and would rather have pots and pans than panties and bras. However, I still want a wishing well for our wedding. How do I word this on the invites? Is that tacky to say or should I exclude any info from either of the invites?
